How do You define a Classic Car?

Good day everyone,

I have been away for a bit working on my site ( www.CarStorian.com ), a couple of other sites and just normal life things, although, this subject never leaves my mind. Let’s see how this question works out. What do you consider a “Classic Car”? Is there a prescribed definition, legal or something you come up with? Here in Florida, USA, I found this as the DMV definition: “In Florida, an antique vehicle is defined as any motor vehicle that was manufactured after 1945 and is at least thirty years old.” There is more information, but this is the basic idea to work with. Do you agree or do you have your own guidelines? Does something just look classic and is acceptable?

I personally think it is a personal label regarding whatever car that may be in question. Granted, the
Department of Motor Vehicles of whatever state or country you reside in is going to override your personal thoughts, I just thought this would be an interesting topic.

Thank you and I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!
